The Falcon Nitro is a cool kid's Alloy hardtail MTB featuring disc brakes, multiple Shimano gears, low standover frame and suspension fork.
One of the benefits of disc brakes is that the braking surface is away from the ground unlike with a rim brake, meaning soil, water and dust is less likely to contaminate the contact area, so more consistent braking performance is noticeable, in the wet or dry.
If this is their first suspension bike, it may take a little time to get used to the travel of the fork and maybe also the Revoshift shifters for the transmission, but once they're familiar, no trail will be off limits!.
