Safe on the road
The Grenoble C7+ HMB is equipped with powerful hydraulic rim brakes. Robust and low-maintenance. This reliable braking system gets you everywhere. The braking power is particularly high, so you can be sure that you will always stop on time, even in wet weather.
Always comfortable on the move
The Grenoble C7+ HMB rides very comfortably. Thanks to an ingenious frame geometry, you always sit comfortably upright. With the help of the continuously adjustable handlebar stem, you can also adjust the sitting position to suit your needs. The wide tyres and suspension elements absorb any bumps on the road for you.
Smooth support
With the smooth Bosch Active Line Plus mid-mounted motor, you will never have a headwind again! The motor is operated very intuitively by the ergonomic control panel next to the handlebar grip. This keeps your hands safely on the wheel. The easy-to-read central display shows, among other things, how much distance you can still cycle depending on the assistance setting.
How Does An Electric Bike Work?
An electric system consists of a number of main components:
- Battery: Integrated into the luggage carrier or located behind the seat tube (depending on the model)
- Motor: Built into the frame at the bottom bracket or in the front wheel
- Display: Fitted on the handlebar
- Sensors: Every electric system has a speed sensor, which as its name suggests, measures how fast the bike is being ridden. In addition, riding behaviour is determined by a rotation sensor or a pedal force sensor depending on the model. The Impulse system in addition has a fourth sensor, namely the shift sensor. This sensor cuts out assistance for a quarter of a second while you are shifting which enables you to keep on pedalling while shifting.
Together the sensors determine the amount assistance provided by the motor based on your assistance level setting and the pedal force you are applying. You set the assistance level yourself using the handlebar grip control.
